Cooking Instructions
In a pressure cooker, pour oil and saute 1 Onion until golden, add ½ kg boneless mutton (shoulder piece) along with haleem spice mix, ½ cup curd & ½ cup water for 30 minutes—mash and set aside.
In another pressure cooker, empty the wheat and lentil mix, add salt, and cook with 10 cups (2 liters) of water for 45 minutes – mash and set aside.
Now, combine the pressure-cooked mutton and wheat mix and cook on low flame for 1 hour, adding 150ml ghee (stirring continuously) until pasty in texture. Finally, add 1 sliced & deep-fried onion, chopped mint leaves, and coriander leaves. Check seasoning & serve.
Serving suggestions
Serve hot and garnish with fried onions, fried cashews, coriander leaves, mint leaves & lime.
